The Labor Inspectors of the Metropolitan Area of Reggio Calabria have imposed fines in the city and in the province of around 35 thousand euros, with the aim of combating illegal and irregular work and protecting public health.
The inspectors discovered that in a nightclub in Reggio Calabria two employees were employed illegally, sanctioning the owner with a total sum of 10,300 euros, the obligation to regularize the employees and for the lack of health training.
In Locri, inspectors sanctioned the owner of a bar for the presence of two illegal employees, out of the three present.
In a bar in Locride, out of 3 workers present, 2 illegal workers were found. The activity has been suspended and to reopen it will be necessary to pay a fine of 10300 and the regularization of the two irregular employees.
In the Piana di Gioia Tauro, inspectors identified three workers in a restaurant, two of whom were irregularly employed. The company was suspended for illegal work and to reopen it will have to pay a fine of 10,300 euros and regularization of the two irregular employees.
Finally, in Locride a fine of 3,900 euros was imposed on the owner of a hardware store for the presence of an illegal worker.
