Ten Italian tennis players will take part in the men’s singles at Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam event of the season, taking place from Monday on the grass courts of the All England Club in LondonThe draw was made today, which sees Jannik Sinner first favorite (it’s the first time in history that an Italian starts first seed at Wimbledon). These are the pairings of the debuting Italians. Sinner will challenge the German Yannick Hanfmann; Matteo Berrettini next he will face the Hungarian Marton Fucsovics. The Atoatesi and the Roman could meet in the second round. The qualified Mattia Bellucci meets the American Ben Shelton; Matteo Arnaldi he is opposed to another star-spangled tennis player, namely Frances Tiafoe. Lorenzo Sonego challenges the Argentine Mariano Navone; Fabio Fognini will face the German Dominik Koepfer; Luciano Darderi instead he faces the British Jan Choinski.

Lorenzo Musettiwho is seeded number 25, makes his debut against the Frenchman Constant Lestienne; Flavio Cobolli meets the Australian Rinky Hijikata; finally Luca Nardi faces the Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry. As for the international “big” players, the reigning champion, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, seeded number 3, was drawn in the upper part of the draw, that of Sinner. In the lower part, instead, the number two in the world, the Serbian Novak Djokovic, confirmed at the start, like the other “uncertain” Andy Murray.
