Andrea Lanari, one of the first Anmil testimonials, has overcome many challenges, starting with the one that saw him having to use two prostheses on his arms which were amputated after being crushed under a press without protection. Since then his life has been a challenge every day, followed by success thanks to his father’s determination. Having become one of the first trainer testimonials of Anmil, with two latest generation forearm prostheses made especially for him in the Inail prosthesis center in Vigorso di Budrio, next 2 July, together with his son Kevin, he will swim across the Strait of Messina starting from Torrefaro (Messina) and arriving at Cannitello beach (Villa San Giovanni-Reggio Calabria).
With them also the instructor Marco Trillini, expert in swimming for people with disabilities and head of communications for the Papa Giovanni XXIII Center in Ancona. Both from Castelfidardo, they will swim for about 3 and a half kilometers to raise funds to help victims of work with Anmil and for the Papa Giovanni XXIII Center. The initiative is also supported by a virtuous company, Giesse Logistica, which met Andrea a couple of years ago during one of his testimonial meetings.
