With a resolution approved this morning – on the proposal of the President Roberto Occhiuto and the Councilor for Labor, Giovanni Calabrese – The Council of the Calabria Region has decided to ifurther to stabilize social inclusion trainees by giving administrations 40 thousand euros for each TIS Under 60 which will be hired indefinitely.
A measure to which the regional executive has been working for some time, made possible after months of comparisons with the unions, with local authorities and with the national government, and made possible also thanks to law rules made to approve in parliament precisely with the ultimate goal of conducting this project.
The Region will allocate 150 million euros of the Community programming in all to allow administrations to proceed quickly to stabilizations.
With today’s resolution, the Council gives address to the Labor Department for the definition and activation of all the administrative and financial procedures, necessary to provide adequate support in favor of the regional public administrations which, on 31 July 2025, have undertaken to proceed with the hiring.
“We in almost four years of government have not created any precarious and indeed we have worked on the ground to reduce the existing basins more and more, starting from that of the Tis. The internships of social inclusion – underlines the president Occhiuto – still constitute a large category to which they also belong fragile bands of the population. For many years these workers have been employed at the Calabrian public bodies by continuing, continuously, which contribute in a significant way to maintaining of the essential services and the functionality of the institutions they are part of.
“Following the reconnaissance carried out by the Labor Department – adds the Calabrian councilor – numerous regional public administrations have expressed, through the dedicated regional platform, the willingness to activate stabilization paths of the members of the basin in question. To this end, it is necessary to provide a structured and multi -year economic contribution to the bodies that will activate said stabilization procedures, also in order to guarantee the actual sustainability of the hiring. Resolution approved by the regional council, we take an important step forward in the recognition and enhancement of those who, through social inclusion internships, have shown commitment and dedication in the context of the regional public service.
