The municipal administration of Catanzaro, apologizing for the inconvenience to the roads that may derive from this fundamental intervention for the protection of the territory and the safeguarding of the city roads, recalls that in the coming months there will be some critical issues along Viale dei Normanni, due to the safety works of the shoe upstream and valley of the road.
To allow the execution of the interventions in security conditions, starting from Monday 5 May 2025 and until the end of the works, following the new ordinance of the Local Police, the one -way march from the South to the North will be activated in the affected section of Viale dei Normanni.
The new provisions also provide:
The ban on transit for vehicles over 3.5 tons on via Milelli, in the stretch between the roundabout and via Italia, except for the small buses of the AMC.
The confirmation of the ban on parking with removal on both sides of Viale dei Normanni and in the entire Politeama parking area.
Recommended alternative paths:
Vehicles from via Milelli and directed to the south will be able to travel:
Via Italia – via Cavour – Corso Mazzini, continuing:
right towards Porta Marina – via Chilea or via Marincola Pistoia, to return to Viale dei Normanni;
On the left to via Francesco De Seta – Via Nuova, returning to Viale dei Normanni.
