Ukraine successfully conducted the first test of its own ballistic missile. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this, according to RBC-Ukraine. “There was a successful test of the first Ukrainian ballistic missile. And I congratulate our defense-industrial complex for that,” Zelensky said, adding that he could not reveal any more details about the missile. “I thought it was too early to talk about it. But I wanted society to evaluate the people who work 24/7 at defense enterprises,” he said.

The Peace Plan to Present to Biden, Harris and Trump

The Ukrainian president will present to US President Joe Biden and the White House candidates in September “the plan for Ukraine’s victory.” Zelensky himself said this, according to Kiev media. “There is a plan for Ukraine’s victory. I’m not sure that I can reveal everything. One of the elements, and part of this has already been done, is the Kursk region,” Zelensky said at a press conference. “The second is Ukraine’s strategic place in the global security infrastructure. The third element is a powerful package to force Russia to end the war through diplomatic means. And the fourth element is economic. I won’t talk about all this in detail, but the plan is ready,” he added. “It will be right if I present this plan to the President of the United States first. The success of this plan depends on him, whether they give us what is in this plan or not. I also believe that it will be right to hand this plan to both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Because we still have to find out who will be the next president of the United States and we want to implement this plan,” he concluded.

Grossi (IAEA): “In Kursk there is a risk of a nuclear accident”

There is a “danger of a nuclear accident” at the Russian nuclear power plant in the Kursk region, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said after visiting the facility. The Russian agency Interfax reported.

Grossi said he had “seen traces of drone attacks” on the plant’s territory and reiterated his appeal to the parties in conflict to ensure that the plant is not a target for military activity under any circumstances.
