Football: Cosenza chooses former Milan player Palmieri as head of the youth sector, Pozzi is there for the attack

Cosenza Calcio has chosen Umberto Palmieri as head of the youth sector. The former Milan scout brings a long experience gained in the Rossoneri club where he worked for 9 years. He mainly dealt with Calabria and Sicily, following matches, internships and training sessions of numerous amateur clubs. His presence was frequent in regional tournaments and in national under selections. Known for his attention to detail and his ability to identify precocious talents, he has collaborated with Milan’s technical managers in various academy initiatives in the area. His figure is well known in the youth circles of Calabria and the whole of Southern Italy. With this addition, the rossoblù club aims to give new impetus to the nursery. The objective is to improve the boys’ growth path and strengthen the connection with the first team. Palmieri is already working among the wolf cubs. «I am enthusiastic about this new adventure – says the new manager of the rossoblù youth sector – and about being able to collaborate with an important club like Cosenza Calcio which I believe to be among the best in Southern Italy».

New signing for Wolves

Cosenza Calcio officially announces that it has signed the annual contract with Alessandro Pozzi. Born in Rome on 2 September 2004, he is a skilled attacking winger, 1 meter and 83 centimeters tall. Raised in the youth sector of Frosinone, the talented athlete gained experience with the shirts of Sorrento Ostiamare Sora and Enna in Serie D last season. Alessandro Pozzi has already joined Mr. Coppitelli’s group in the pre-season summer retreat of the rossoblù team in San Giovanni in Fiore. With this addition, Cosenza strengthens its offensive department by focusing on young players of quality and perspective.
