Accident in France: producer Nicolas Altmayer and Mathilde Favier, manager of Dior, died

Nicolas Altmayer, French producer of films such as “Special Agent 117 in the Service of the Republic” and “Brice de Nice”, and Mathilde Favier, public relations director of the Dior group, were killed yesterday in a car accident in the Deux-Sèvres region (western France). The prosecutor’s office announced this today.

Collision with a truck at Airvault

The couple had the accident yesterday afternoon on a provincial road in Airvault, when their car, while overtaking, collided with a lorry traveling in the opposite direction. An investigation for manslaughter has been opened against the driver of the heavy vehicle.

Who were the two victims

Mathilde Favier, 57, was director of public relations for the Dior brand and Altmayer, 61, a film producer, headed the company Mandarin & Compagnie together with his brother Eric. Among the films produced also «Alpha» by Julia Ducournau and «Monsieur Aznavour».
