In the sign of the King and Pafundi. Catanzaro’s first championship victory was scored by Pietro Iemmello. To knock out Carrarese, who else but him, the captain and leader of a team that absolutely needed it after three defeats in a row. The debut at the “Ceravolo” finally gives the Giallorossi what they would have deserved even before. Thanks to the King’s goal, but also to the shots of Pafundi, an assist man with crystalline talent, who played as if he had to make amends for his absence (due to injury) in the first three days. There was no shortage of suffering and shivers (a Tuscan goal), but success counted and it arrived, without there being any discussion.
