A cocaine farm discovered in Cetraro: drugs worth over 1 million euros and 5 arrests

The cocaine farmhouse

The military identified a farmhouse located in the municipality of Cetraro, which served as a real headquarters for cutting and packaging the narcotic. Inside the structure, the Fiamme Gialle found: 5 blocks of cocaine, for a total weight of approximately 5.5 kg. 750 grams of marijuana. Professional equipment for weighing and packaging drugs. Over 100 thousand euros in cash, divided into bundles and sealed in vacuum bags. Furthermore, in the immediate vicinity of the property, a car equipped with a double bottom, specifically designed for the concealed transport of drugs, was seized.

5 people arrested: the names

The operation led to the arrest of five people in flagrante delicto. Elia Ricco, 29 years old, Armando Tricarico, 52, Marco Ricoso, 45, all from Cetraro, ended up in handcuffs; Rosario Comodaro, 57, and Anthony Scrivo, 25, both from Stilo. Ricco, among other things, is the brother of Alessio, a former fugitive captured last October by financiers and carabinieri.

The investigations were coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Paola, under the direction of the Chief Prosecutor, Domenico Fiordalisi. According to investigators, the seized cocaine was intended to supply both the local and national markets, potentially yielding a large number of doses.
