He would have raped his wife and abused his minor son. For this reason, a man was arrested by the police in Crotone on charges of domestic abuse, personal injury, sexual violence and kidnapping.
The complaint was made during a holiday in Bergamo
The precautionary measure was issued following an affair that began on January 8th in Bergamo, where the family was on holiday. The man abandoned his wife and son and left. The woman, in the throes of a crisis of anxiety, went to the police station where she reported that she and her son were subjected to systematic violence, aggression and harassment by her husband.
The intervention of the Pythagorean task force
After the report, the specialized “Crimes against the person” section of the Bergamo Flying Squad immediately activated the “Code Red” procedure, starting investigations and preparing measures to protect the victims by placing them in a protected structure to guarantee safety and assistance. The report was then forwarded to the Crotone Flying Squad which, with the coordination of the task force of magistrates of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, carried out further investigations which would have allowed the reconstruction of a series of episodes of mistreatment, injuries and sexual violence committed by the man against his wife and abuse of his son. The victim’s statements and the other results of the investigative activity led the Prosecutor’s Office led by Domenico Guarascio to ask the investigating judge and obtain a precautionary custody measure in prison carried out immediately by the Flying Squad investigators.
