On the A2 Autostrada del Mediterraneo, heading north, slowdowns persist in the stretch between the Scilla and Bagnara Calabra junctions, in Reggino. Traffic is gradually returning to normal after the serious attack on the armored car which occurred inside the Vardaru tunnel, at approximately km 414.

The vehicles involved – Anas reports – in the attack were removed from the tunnel, allowing the overtaking lane to reopen to traffic. However, the lane between km 414.900 and km 412.800 remains closed, where Anas personnel are still engaged in the technical checks necessary to guarantee full safety of the infrastructure.

Traffic conditions therefore remain conditioned by queues and slowdowns, causing inconvenience for motorists in transit.
