An intense extraordinary control operation was conducted in recent days by the Milazzo carabinieri in the Aeolian Islands. The intervention, carried out with patrols both during the day and at night, saw the involvement of the Carabinieri Department of Agri -Food Protection, of the Inspectorate of the Labor of Messina and the Asp of the Peloritano capital.
The operation led to the control of Over 250 people and more than 160 vehicleswith numerous disputes for violations of the Highway Code. Six vehicles were seized, ten subjected to administrative detention and over 95 points have been reduced by the licensed drivers licensed.
On the road safety front, Four people have been reported: three for guide under the influence of alcohol or drugs and one for refusing to undergo the alcoholtest.
In the anti -drug field, five individuals between 21 and 62 were reported to the Prefecture of Messina Which assumed, after being found in possession of hashish and marijuana for personal use. The substances were seized and sent to the Ris of Messina for the analyzes.
There were also irregularities in commercial activities: Six owners have been reported for health violations, including detention of over 10 kg of food in bad condition and unauthorized administration. An operator was also referred for attempted fraud, having proposed in the menus frozen products as fresh.
Finally, six people were reported for other crimes, including uncontrolled abandonment of wasteunauthorized video surveillance systems and abusive building in tied areas.
The carabinieri confirm that the checks will continue in the next few days to guarantee safety and legality on the entire territory of the archipelago.
