The second edition of the event took place last Sunday Mountain Festivalevent organized by the Anello del Nisi APS association, an association that works for the valorisation and promotion of the territory (from a naturalistic, landscape, historical, cultural, religious, food and wine, ethno-anthropological point of view), in collaboration with the municipal administration of Ali.
The event attracted numerous trekking enthusiasts, which is evidence of how it is increasingly sought after this way of understanding tourism characterized by direct contact with nature and moments of aggregation, especially after the COVID period, also the participation of the friends of the Alpini section of Messina, of the Isotopi del Mela association, of the administrative representatives of Alì, Alì Terme , Itala, Fiumedinisi and educational institutions of the IC of Alì Terme, completed everything.
A route of approximately 14 km return was carried out, starting on foot from Portella Spiria to reach the top of Monte Scuderi, the fifth peak of the Peloritani mountains.
An experience that allowed us to experience intense moments of joy and spirituality.
The presence of Fr. Domenico Manuli, deputy parish priest of Sant’Agata di Alì and San Rocco di Alì Terme, characterized all this, with the celebration of the Holy Mass which was experienced in a very participatory way.
Immediately afterwards, a moment of conviviality between the participants followed, who had the opportunity to taste typical local products, accompanied by music and songs of the Sicilian popular tradition. Holy Mass and convivial moment took place in the Puzzo district.
The participants were literally carried away by this wave of joy. The 2023 Mountain Festival has once again created bonds of respect for ourselves and Nature among all participants.
