The Coreca gallery has been open to traffic. Anas has completed the structural redevelopment interventions of the Coreca Gallery on the 18 ‘Tirrena Inferiore state road, in the municipal area of Amantea in the province of Cosenza. Upon reopening, the Anas Manager of Calabria Management Area present Domenico Curciothe Anas technicians and the executing company, the mayor of Amantea Vincenzo Pellegrinothe commissioner Mario Gagliardi and the councilor Giacomo Perri.
The works concerned the full reconstruction of the structural cap of the gallery, the redevelopment of hydraulic works, the adjustment of the technological and lighting systems, as well as the renovation of the road flooring and horizontal signs along the entire extending of the intervention. Works aimed at guaranteeing a significant improvement in the level of service in safety and comfort conditions for vehicles in transit along a strategic infrastructure – about 1 km long – of fundamental importance for the Tyrrhenian coast, with an investment of over 10 million euros and with further 2 million euros for the adaptation of technological and lighting systems in the gallery.
The mayor of Amantea, Vincenzo Pellegrinohe highlighted that “Anas has maintained the commitments made. Thanks to the determination of the architect Curcio – director of the Anas Calabria compartment of Catanzaro – who also assured particular proximity to our community.
