Lecce returns to success after almost a month (and for the first time at home this season), Torino starts badly and collapses. Eusebio Di Francesco’s men beat the Granata 2-1 in the Via del Mare match, valid for the thirteenth matchday of Serie A 2025/2026, and move away from the relegation zone: goals from Lassana Coulibaly and Lameck Banda decide. The Granata, after a horror first part, woke up and also scored with Adams, but were condemned by Asllani’s 90th-minute penalty error: Falcone comfortably saved the former Inter player’s right-footed shot. Fresh from the five suffered against Como, Torino immediately ran a big risk with a wrong back pass by Nkounkou, who gave their opponents the first corner of the match. In the 13th minute the Piedmontese’s first signal came with Adams who, seeing Falcone outside the posts, tried to surprise him from distance but missed the target. Two minutes later the Scot attempts a header from close range, but Falcone blocks it without problems.
Lecce seems to be managing while Torino is running on empty. But in the 90th minute, after a long check by the VAR, Mariani awarded a penalty to the Piedmontese for a foul by Morente on Coco: Asllani appeared on the spot, but was hypnotized by an amazing Falcone. The goalkeeper’s gloves put the exclamation point on the first victory of the season at the home of the Giallorossi, for the Granata it is the second defeat in a row. Lecce rises to 13 points, one less than Torino.
