The rains are returning to a good part of Sicily and for today the regional Department of Civil Protection has issued a “yellow” weather alert (attention) for meteorological-hydrogeological and hydraulic risk in the eastern area of ​​the island.

Until midnight tomorrow, Wednesday 6 November, “isolated to scattered” rainfall, including downpours or thunderstorms, is expected in the provinces of Messina, Catania, Syracuse and Ragusa and in part of the provinces of Enna and Caltanissetta with cumulative quantities ranging from weak to regularly moderate; from isolated to scattered, even downpours or thunderstorms, in the remaining areas.
