The Carabinieri of the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto Company proceeded to arrest a 30-year-old of Romanian origin, suspected of the crime of “attempted aggravated murder” against a man from Falcone.
The Carabinieri of the Falcone station operated, following a request for intervention by health workers from 118 who had reported that they had subjected a 57-year-old local man to treatment for personal injuries following a stabbing.
The measure is the result of the investigative activity of the military personnel, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Patti, led by Angelo Vittorio Cavallo, which made it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts and collect sufficient elements that led to the arrest of the woman who, during an argument, allegedly attacked the man, wounding him with a knife.
Traced by the Carabinieri, the woman was taken to the Messina Gazzi prison, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority which validated the arrest.
