This afternoon, just before 12:00, the Fire Brigade intervened in the countryside of Petilia Policastro, in Via Strada Santa Spina, to rescue a boy who was stuck following a fracture.
The team from the Petilia Policastro Fire Brigade reached the intervention area, characterized by particularly difficult terrain, continuing on foot and without the aid of vehicles until reaching the injured person, to whom first aid was provided.
The recovery of the young man was carried out with the help of the Fire Brigade helicopter, which allowed his transfer to a safe area. Once on the ground, the boy was entrusted to medical personnel for treatment. The Carabinieri were also present on site.
The operation concluded successfully in the early afternoon.
