On the one hand, “a city that is starting again, increasing collection and the fight against tax evasion, adhering to facilitated scrapping, trying to provide answers in services and activating targeted controls thanks to the external company for debt collection”, was described. On the other hand, it was stated that «the DUP represents a dream book of an Administration that continues to lose funding as well as not planning anything, that keeps the parks closed, has forgotten the school and the University». Two opposing visions, that of the Executive, represented by Budget Councilor Ketty De Luca and that of the opposition, clash in the City Council, on the day the Single Planning Document 2027-2029 arrives in the Chamber. All in a day that began in a way that was not easy for the majority. If it wasn’t the forces lined up in support of Mayor Enzo Romeo who showed up on Thursday, yesterday the mayor so to speak returned the favor, arriving in the Council Chamber approximately three hours after the start of the debate.
