Councilor Filippo Pietropaolo, new staff arrives in the Region. Can the hiring period be considered over?
English: “It cannot be said to be concluded yet, but the most significant part of an unprecedented hiring plan in the Region has been completed. Since I was appointed assessor and we started the process with President Occhiuto at the end of 2024, over 800 new personnel will enter the Region, about half of which will be used to strengthen the employment centers, the rest to strengthen the administrative machine of the Cittadella, which in recent times has had a sharp drop in the number of employees due to retirements. The work we have done with Formez and the Department of Public Function has borne fruit. Over 40 thousand candidates participated in the competitions and everything went well, without appeals, without complaints. A test of efficiency, transparency and valorization of merit, as was verified by the many young people who participated by passing even very tough selection tests, with commissions appointed directly by the Public Function, which gave value to qualifications, skills, and study. We still have to conclude a competition for 80 administrative staff, and the last competition for 54 units of specific profiles announced last January and which will almost certainly be held in the first weeks of September. Once these procedures are completed, there will no longer be these large numbers, but as a result of the new plan there will be more targeted interventions”.
What are the main novelties of the recently approved Personnel Requirements Plan?
«It is a very demanding plan that includes the hiring of an additional 19 units from the ranking of Law 68; the fixed-term hiring of 50 units of different profiles from a competition that will be held directly by the National Department of Cohesion; the fixed-term hiring of 8 people who will be part of the group of the Single Register of the Third Sector with funds from the Ministry of Labor; the scrolling of 21 units of officials and high qualifications who will be added to the 80 of the 2023 plan; the scrolling of the ranking for another 38 units for instructors that we will take from the CPI ranking; the fixed-term hiring of 5 managers in the various departments of the Region; a mobility for 26 units of different profiles, both officials and instructors, and expert operators; the hiring of 6 drivers from the Civil Protection. Part of the plan is covered by budget resources, for 2.5 million, another part by the Cohesion Funds and resources from the Ministry of Labor. Overall, with this requirement plan, the entry into the Region of 174 new units is expected. Added to the competitions being concluded in the 2023 Plan, a total of 300 people will enter the Cittadella”.
