The entry of Filomena Greco into the Health commission of the Regional Council electrifies the climate within the Calabrian centre-left. The climate is not only agitated by the Aventine position taken by Ferdinando Laghi, elected as an independent with the Tridico President list, who chose not to participate in the vote for the election of the commission heads. Tensions are also registered in the other parties. Within the Democratic Party and the M5S they intend not to respond to the criticisms advanced by the Alleanza Verdi Sinistra and, in particular, by the secretary of SI, Ferdinando Pignataro, on the inappropriateness of not having opposed the entry into the body of the councilor elected with Casa Riformista. Greco is a joint venture between entrepreneurs with interests in private healthcare. Could all this have been avoided? There is certainly nothing illegitimate in the procedure followed. Furthermore, within the Pd and M5S, it is pointed out that the entry of the Renzian councilor was not the result of a direct election, so much so that the minority elected the dem Rosellina Madeo as vice president of the commission. If anything, it is the result of an autonomous choice of the person concerned who, like the other elected councillors, can choose which commission to join as a simple member.
