“More than 17,000 applications, out of over 19,000 received, have been approved for funding, 4,267 of which are conditional, for the provision of school vouchers for students in secondary schools. The voucher represents concrete support for Calabrian families with medium and low incomes to counteract the increase in costs related to school supplies. We are therefore particularly pleased that such a high number of applicants have been able to benefit from it. This is an important initiative, launched a few months ago and which will be proposed again, strongly desired by the President of the Region Occhiuto and the former councilor Giusi Princi, followed with great commitment by the regional department for Education, with the general manager Maria Francesca Gatto and the service manager Anna Perani, who will quickly start the procedures necessary for the timely provision of the benefits”.

This is what the regional councillor for education states, Maria Stefania Caracciolo, following the publication, on the Calabria Region website, of the provisional lists of beneficiaries of the “Voucher caro scuola”.

Among the admitted applications there are also 4,267 applications that, despite having the admissibility requirements, presented technical irregularities in the uploading procedure. For these cases, the Regional offices have provided the possibility of correcting the errors, allowing the interested families to access the benefit.

Beneficiaries will be able to consult the lists on the institutional website of the Calabria Region and will have 15 days to exercise the right of access to the documents. It is also possible to submit a request for review within five days of access.

Those who have been admitted with reservations will receive a communication via email, with the instructions regarding the documentation to be integrated and the methods for correcting any irregularities.
