Positive balance
The curtain falls on 1,658 more companies in 2025, the result of 8,872 registrations and 7,214 terminations which bring the overall stock to 180,532 registered units. The growth rate of 0.90% marks a decisive improvement compared to the 0.50% of 2024, bringing the region closer to the national average (0.96%) and confirming the contribution of the South, which runs at 1.07%, with a higher speed than the North. Of course, this is a prudent vitality, which does not erase structural fragilities but signals a rebalancing. Calabria does not accelerate as much as the rest of the South, yet it shows an ability to adapt which emerges above all in the composition of the productive fabric.
