Two nights of art, music, culture and entertainment to rediscover the San Giovanni Complex and its underground tunnels with its history and identity. “Discover Catanzaro”, the event promoted by Artemide as part of the municipal administration’s Christmas programme, is preparing to experience its most awaited moments which will enliven the heart of the historic centre. Thursday 28 December “A night at the museum” returns, starting from 7 pm until 00.30 am, with visits accompanied by tourist guides inside the exhibition space of the San Giovanni Complex, open extraordinarily at night, which hosts the exhibition “Caravaggio. Non there is energy without color.” A journey through an innovative and multimedia exhibition, which offers a compelling reinterpretation of the life of the famous artist Caravaggio. The route will also continue to the cloister of the Complex, with music, DJ sets and entertainment, transporting visitors into the enchantment of the evocative setting. Friday 29 December, again from 7pm to 12.30am, the experience is repeated with “A night in the basement”: it will be the only opportunity, in this festive period, to discover the castle galleries and immerse yourself in the rich history of Catanzaro, between stories and legends which enrich the experience of each visitor. The program will continue with live music and the fascinating exhibition “Genesi”, curated with passion by AmatoriArte and Factory+, in which different forms of artistic expression are combined.
