In some ways, a decisive assembly not so much for the approval of the budget, as for the political restart of a coalition tried by the double exit, in a few months, of two allies (the area of Antonello Talerico first and then the Action Group). “We have not lost even one of the 10 representatives of the starting coalition” He kept clarifying Fiorita in his intervention that arrived after about four hours of discussion, at times on. “And today we have more than 10” continued, however, outlining a new line from that followed so far: “We will probably govern in a situation in which the Council can be called to a fundamental role, that of the government”. In the opinion of Fiorita, “there are experienced councilors who, by overcoming a natural propensity to the controversy, can make an important contribution to the assembly that the numbers will have to make addresses, suggestions, push the executive to make choices”. Not a real collaboration, clarifies, “but a directional role that these councilors, if they want, will be able to play”.
There was no lack of polemical exchange between former allies. To this one the mayor has pointed out that “we are responsible people: we will be good or not, but nobody can doubt that we are serious people who face the enormous problems of administration. And we will face them all. We are here to give answers to citizens ».
