The rumors about the possible forfeiture of the Municipality from regional funding for Christmas events – the “Let her love you begin” Festival – were confirmed by the executive decree of the Citadel’s Tourism Department. This also brings to an end the dispute which had pitted opposition forces and the municipal administration against each other. Even in the last city council, the FI councilor Alessandra Lobello had pressed the mayor Nicola Fiorita asking him if an act of renunciation of the financing assigned in 2024 and exploited, in extremis, only in that year had ever been presented.
