«It is a duty to identify and share effective technical solutions for the protection of coasts, homes and commercial activities, with particular reference to the hamlet of Cannitello, where the phenomenon of coastal erosion has long been a significant critical issue». What happened in recent days due to the bad weather that hit Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia becomes, for the Forza Italia council group at Palazzo San Giovanni, an input to express some concerns – as well as reflect and show solidarity with the populations affected by Cyclone Harry – on some conditions affecting the Ville area. And in particular, referring to the tourist village of Cannitello, Marco Santoro, Filippo Lucisano, Daniele Siclari, Stefania Calderone and Domenico De Marco, recall the «numerous homes at risk» and that «already in the past, as in February 2022, it was necessary to adopt urgent measures to prohibit the use of some properties facing the shoreline, following the erosive processes that caused the collapse of parts of verandas and walls fence, seriously putting public and private safety at risk.”
