Competitions, published by the Sicilian Region, notices for 322 new officials and for 832 vertical progressions

Green light for new competitions for 322 official positions in the roles of the Sicilian Region and for vertical progressions for 832 employees. The Department of Civil Service and Personnel has published four selection notices which, added to the previous two, conclude the competition procedures envisaged in the 2025 Integrated Activity and Organization Plan (Piao) with a view to generational renewal.

In detail, the four notices for the full-time and permanent hiring of 322 officials (former category D) were published on the competition notices section of the institutional website of the Civil Service department, divided as follows: 60 units in the professional profile technical officer, role areas protection and valorisation of environmental resources, productive development and promotion of the territory, planning and territorial management (TECO Code); 52 units in the professional profiles Labor Inspector (ISPAM Code) – Inspection Officer (ISPTEC Code); 10 units in the professional profile technical officer Cultural Heritage-Archaeologist (Code ARCH); 200 units for the strengthening of Sicily’s employment centres. Applications can be submitted within 45 days from the day following the day of publication on the InPA portal (https://www.inpa.gov.it).

These competitions and vertical progressions represent a fundamental step to enhance internal staff and to introduce new professionalism, essential to face the challenges related to programming, fund management and territorial development. I thank the general manager of the Civil Service department and all the staff for the work done.”

Furthermore, the notice for vertical progressions reserved for internal staff was also published on the Civil Service Department website. As foreseen by the Ccrl of the sector, the notice will give the possibility to 536 employees from the assistants’ area to move to the assistants’ area and to 296 employees from the assistants’ area to move to the officials’ area. Applications can be submitted on the “Employee Portal” starting from January 7th and by February 6th 2026.
