“The condominium after the reform. The balance sheet after the first decade” will be the theme of the seminar that will take place tomorrow, July 10, 2024, starting at 3:30 pm, in the conference room of the Catanzaro Bar Association, in the Palace of Justice in via Falcone e Borsellino.
At the meeting, moderated by Daniela Rodolatreasurer of the COA of Catanzaro, will report Claudio Lovedresearch fellow at the University of “Magna Graecia” of Catanzaro, Marcello Mazzucaassociate professor of the same university, Vincenza Matacerasecretary of the COA of Catanzaro, Salvatore Passafarochartered accountant, and Sandro Scoppapresident of Confedilizia Calabria.
Mariagemma Talericovice-president of the aforementioned Order, Anthony Abbotvice president of Confedilizia Catanzaro, and William Gigliottipresident of the Union of Young Accountants of Catanzaro, will bring greetings from the represented institutions.
The seminar, organized by Catanzaro Construction Confederationfocuses on changes to the condominium discipline on the tenth anniversary of the reform, which came into force with law 220/2012 starting from June 2013.
This is not a perfect reform. In fact, although it has solved some problems, it has still left others open. On the other hand, it must be considered that the condominium reform, in addition to being very important and affecting the lives of many people, is the matter that has given rise to the greatest number of interventions by the Judiciary, so it cannot be thought that moving in this area meant solving all the problems in a short time.
However, some merits must be noted in the reform, such as those concerning the role of the administrator, which has been more professionalized, the choice to maintain the traditional nature of the Condominium as a management body, the interventions on individual provisions of the code to eliminate the conflicts that had arisen on their interpretation and to establish certain criteria, taking into account above all the orientations of the most authoritative jurisprudence.
The seminar is open to all. Its accreditation with the professional orders of Catanzaro is in progress for the purposes of mandatory periodic training of members.
