Construction aid still at a standstill, the Calabria Democratic Party now “questions” Occhiuto

Calabrian construction aid remains at a standstill. Five months after the launch of the regional law for the compensation of credits claimed by companies in the sector through regional public economic bodies (such as Sacal, Single Reclamation Consortium and Agency for the development of industrial areas) and controlled investee companies, no the guidelines for the measure have yet to be issued. An anomaly already reported in these columns and which is now enriched with the question presented by the regional councilor of the Democratic PartyRaffaele Mammoliti. «On the issue – recalls the Dem exponent – there have been numerous requests from trade associations and trade union organisations, not least that of Fillea CGIL which, on several occasions, has asked for the adoption of the guidelines in order to reduce, in limits of what is possible, the many difficulties of thousands of workers with back wages, and of the numerous Calabrian companies in difficulty”. Hence Mammoliti’s request, addressed to the governor Roberto Occhiuto, to know «the reasons for the accumulated delay and what the timeframes are for issuing the measures needed to make the provisions of the regional law of 15 May 2024, n. 25″.
