The Company has decided to re-propose, with the favor of the trade unions, the project initiative already successfully tested during the summer, issuing a notice open to all General Practitioners on the selection cycle and to Free Choice paediatricians aimed at guaranteeing continuity of care in the time slot from 8pm to 8am on weekdays and on days before holidays and holidays from 10am (Notice published on the Company website). This is what we read in a note from the Provincial Health Authority of Reggio Calabria.
The details
Already in recent months, the ASP had issued an open notice aimed at General Practitioners (GPs) and Free Choice Paediatricians (PLS) to cover night shifts (8pm-8am) on weekdays and assistance on days before holidays and holidays. The high level of participation had made it possible to overcome the critical issues and ensure the service in most of the continuity of care stations (formerly on call).
Based on this positive outcome, and in view of the upcoming holiday period, the ASP Management approved resolution no. 1128 of 04/12/2025, which re-proposes the initiative. The objective is to authorize the opening of affiliated GP and PLS medical clinics for the entire period of the holidays.

The window for sending applications is open from 8 am today, 9 December 2025, and will close at 12 pm on 14 January 2026. An initial check carried out this morning confirms the interest in the initiative, with the first application already received.
