«Building critical mass and rebuilding an aware community is the first step to guarantee Corigliano Rossano a political representation worthy of its history and its weight in the regional context».
This is a passage pronounced by Gioacchino Campolo, head of the Corigliano circle of Fratelli d’Italia during the meeting organized by the local party structure in which numerous sympathisers, members and party representatives from Corigliano participated. A meeting, apparently, managed independently by the local club, in which the party coordinator, Dora Mauro, and the group leader in the city council, Guglielmo Caputo, were not present, while the city councilor Daniela Romano participated and spoke.
Two significant absences that have been noticed by many external observers, making conjectures of an alleged dichotomy within the party between the Coriglianese representation and the Rossano one which would have started from the municipal elections of Corigliano Rossano last year.
The carrying out of the initiative, according to Fdi representatives from Corigliano, was born with the aim of starting “a process of territorial reorganization of the party” in which numerous militants, supporters and citizens have expressed interest.
