First weekend on the stage for the Master fencing category. The first round of the national circuit will take place at the PalaCosentia in Cosenza and will also be the last race before the Daytona Beach World Championships which will take place from 11 to 16 October. There are 180 athletes in the various categories registered for the two days in Calabria.
Saturday will open with the men’s sword. Categories 1, 2 and 3 will start at 9am. At 10.30am the men’s épée will start with categories 0 and 1, while at 12pm there will be space for category 2. From 1pm the men’s épée 2 groups will close the day at 1.30pm. male 0 and female 3-4.
Space for conventional weapons Sunday 1 October. From 9am the women’s saber starts with all categories from 0 to 4. Same starting time for the men’s foil 0, 1 and 2. From 10.30am the other two categories. of men’s foil 3-4. At 12.30 there will be room for the men’s sabre, 0-1. All the women’s foil competitions start at 10am while the men’s saber competition with categories 2, 3 and 4 closes the two days in Calabria at 2.30pm.
