The event will return with its numerous stands along Viale Mancini from Saturday 15 to Wednesday 19 March (in these five days the schools will remain closed, except for the “Da Vinci-Nitti” which will suspend the lessons from the day before, that is the 14), enriched by important news. Great return also for the “San Giuseppe Rock”, which on 21 and 22 March will animate Piazza Spirito Santo and Largo dell’Arenella with the performances of different bands, including the Modena City Ramblers, and Dj-set until late at night. Guest of honor will be ‘or Zulù, the unmistakable frontman of the 99 possess. “It is the fourth edition that inaugurates and I am particularly proud of what has been carried out in the past years, but this year the event will be even richer,” said Mayor Franz Caruso. «The most significant novelty is the return of San Giuseppe Rock, an event conceived and strongly desired by Franco Dionesalvi in 1998 during the Mancini administration, which for a long time characterized the fair.
We decided to re -propose this event for two fundamental reasons: first of all to give life to a positive and significant tradition that has left an indelible imprint in the history of our city; Secondly, to report, at least in part, the fair in its natural context, the historic center where it was born, but where it is no longer possible to organize it for safety reasons ». The mayor then stressed that the event will extend both over time and space: «San Giuseppe Rock will return to Arenella, the place where it was born, with the addition of a stage also in the Spirito Holy district. We know that globalization has also influenced the fair, and this year there will be exhibitors from different parts of the territory and beyond.
