After about a month fromOperation Acquabonawhich allowed the Flying Squad to significantly affect the drug dealing activity of the most flourishing city square, with the execution of 12 precautionary measures last November 16th, another important result was achieved in the same neighborhood, with the seizure of approximately one kilo of cocaine and the arrest of two people.
The operators of the Flying Squad, during yet another service carried out in the district to combat criminal activity, with the aid of the squad cars of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, paid attention to the home of a 30-year-old subject, known for specific biases, after noticing suspicious movements.
The officers, intent on entering the apartment to carry out a search, blocked a 27-year-old woman, the man’s cohabitant, who was trying to leave, carrying with her a plastic bag with Christmas decorations, under which they were three wrappers containing a total of 935 grams of cocaine were found, as well as an electronic scale and material for packaging the doses.
The material found was seized and the two were arrested, available to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Crotone. The man was associated with the local prison, while the woman was placed in her home under house arrest, awaiting the decisions of the Judicial Authority.
