The project workers (Lap) of the former Abraham Customer Care signed this morning, at the Konecta office, located in the Roman self -employment, the fixed -term hiring contracts lasting one year. The 94 former project workers – who had remained penalized by the Abraham dispute, risking expulsion from the labor market – awaited this moment since December 2024, when an agreement was signed at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy for their insertion in the project of the Calabria Region for the digitization of medical records, an initiative that allowed to safeguard about 1000 jobs among the former ABRAM employees. To date, however, the project workers have only obtained an annual contract.
“A one -year hiring – said the provincial secretary Uil, Fabio Tomaino – is a partial result that does not fully respect the commitment of the stabilization assumed in the ministerial headquarters. We must work together with the Calabria Region to definitively free the workers from the uncertainty of precariousness”.
