Parties always stuck at the post. The centre-right, but above all the centre-left do not seem to show any signs of activity in sight of the 2025 or 2026 administrative elections. The Castrovillaresi should finally go to the vote to overcome a mandate, that of the current mayor of Domenico Lo Politowhich has largely navigated the ten years foreseen for the mayors of municipalities with a population exceeding 15 thousand inhabitants.
At first there seemed to be the possibility of extending the center-left’s path to the Municipality of Castrovillari by a further year, going to 2026, probably with the Regionals. But some last-minute indiscretions now lead to September 2025, thus remaining within the context of an electoral path that, in 2020, was activated for reasons related to Covid.
The elevator of memories leads to an electoral session completely carried out between the summer months of August and September. A true tour de force then won in the run-off by the current mayor. All thanks to a record recovery of over 1000 votes. The matter of the electoral consultations will now end up on the table of the new Prefect of Cosenza, also to establish with extreme certainty a path that, at the moment, marks the movements of the Italian Social Alternative.
