The process relating to the creation of a “community hospital” (OC) in the city of Patti is proceeding quickly. The public work that will be built in the Case Nuove Russo district has been financed for an amount of 3,022,902 euros under the framework of Pnrr investments intended by Mission 6 for the “Strengthening of intermediate healthcare and its structures” (of which 1 million paid by the Messina ASP). The construction sites of the consortium of production and labor cooperatives “ConsCoop” are already in full swing, having won the contract with a low offer of 18.75%.
This also brings good news regarding the long-awaited reopening of the Rsa, which has become the subject of major battles with the aim of regaining the important care center and protecting the employment levels that were cut short in April 2022 with the closure of the facility. The CB, in fact, will be built using the property of the Case Nuove Russo healthcare residence, through the construction of a raised floor which, as planned, will cover approximately 1300 m2.
