The IDF chief of staff has imposed that all Israeli army soldiers be present on election day, October 27, after assessments according to which terrorist attacks could occur on that date with the aim of influencing the outcome of the polls. This was reported by Channel 12 TV, explaining that the decision was taken at the end of a preparation and evaluation phase of the situation.

With a letter addressed to the “great people of Israel”, Donald Trump, in a post on Truth, intends to “express my full and total support for Bibi Netanyahu in his bid for re-election as prime minister of Israel”.

Eisenkot replies to Trump

Gadi Eisenkot, Benjamin Netanyahu’s main challenger in the Israeli elections on October 27, responded to Donald Trump’s message of support for the outgoing prime minister, stating that “only Israelis can choose their own leader”. The Israeli media reported it. During a conference in Tel Aviv, Eisenkot declared that he “admires the American president”, who had just expressed his “full and total support” for Netanyahu “in the race for re-election”. “But Israel is a democratic country: only Israelis can choose their leaders”, added Eisenkot.
