The Local Public Transport business unit was awarded
This morning, Mayor Franz Caruso met the curator of the judicial liquidation of Amaco SPA, Doctor Fernando Caldiero, and the director, Eng. Francesco La Valle, at Palazzo dei Bruzi. The event was announced during the meeting awarding of the lease of the Local Public Transport business unit to the TPL bus consortium. This step involves the transfer of 111 working units of Amaco to the new manager, with a contract valid until 31 December 2026.
Focus on maintaining employment levels
The discussion explored the topic of safeguarding the workers responsible for managing the blue striped car parks, the car park in Via Aldo Moro and the tow truck service. Currently, the number of employees has gone from 12 to 8 unitsdue to a retirement and the transit of three employees on local public transport.
