Three minor injuries and a lot of fear on the way back from the big vacation. A pileup on the Pollino highway, between the Morano-Castrovillari and Campotenese junctions, with heavy slowdowns in the northbound direction. All due to a scary collision that occurred at kilometer 182, and caused slowdowns and queues between Frascineto-Castrovillari and Campotenese.
The accident, the causes of which are currently being investigated, involved three vehicles, one of which overturned on the roadway. Anas personnel intervened on site to restore trafficability and to facilitate the rescue operations carried out by the 118 health workers of Castrovillari and the firefighters. The injured were transferred to the Ferrari hospital, where they underwent the usual instrumental tests. The investigations are being entrusted to the personnel of the Frascineto Highway Police.
