Femicide, bullying, youth inconvenience: Gutenberg Calabria has opened a window on important and very current issues, which close closely girls and boys, through the reflection aroused by the books and the voice of the authors. Gino Cecchettin He participated in a morning of dialogue with the students of Catanzaro, in a crowded Auditorium Casalinuovo, speaking of the literary work that he wanted to dedicate to the memory of his daughter Giulia, victim of violence. “I would like to remember every moment spent with her – he said – and the only way to do it is to write. The book I consider it the last gift from Dad, which also allowed to start the Foundation project that wants to provide help to the victims of violence. The fundamental goal is, however, that of making education and training, thanks to a scientific committee made up of teachers and experts of every sector, through a didactic proposal that will arrive next year in schools”.
To open his heart through the written word is also Camilla Mancinidaughter of the former footballer and coach of the National Roberto, who spoke to the boys of bullying immediately on his skin: “Reading for me was fundamental to look for moments of escape, reconnect with myself and then become a writer. How many are living difficult moments I say that you are not alone, sooner or later you will go out, sometimes you touch the bottom and then go up. It is essential to share and accept fragility”. At Gutenberg Calabria he also returned Mauro Bonazziprofessor of history of ancient philosophy at the University of Milan, who in his work has highlighted how Greek civilization has produced a light reflection on the sense of the human condition, capable of crossing the centuries, influencing and stimulating great writers and great thinkers. Bonazzi confronted the boys, also identifying his shadows and lights of tomorrow, taking up the theme of Gutenberg22: “On the one hand the problem of climate change that changed our lives, on the other the artificial intelligence, with all its possible applications”.
Tomorrow, for the meetings open to the city, at 6.30 pm in the De Nobili library, we will talk about reading as an inclusion tool with Anselmo Rovedadeputy director of the Andersen magazine, as well as a member of the jury of the homonymous and prestigious prize of children’s books.
