US President Donald Trump and his team “are discussing several options for the acquisition of Greenland” and the use of the army remains “always an option”. The White House declared it.
“President Trump has made it clear that the acquisition of Greenland is a U.S. national security priority and is critical to deterring our adversaries in the Arctic,” the White House said, responding to a Reuters question.
“The president and his team are discussing a range of options to pursue this important foreign policy objective, and of course, using the U.S. military is always an option available to the commander in chief,” he added.
