The plan is financed with resources of the Pr Calabria Fesr FSE+ 2021/2027, of the FSC Calabria 2021/2027, and of the PN CAPCOE, Par Calabria for a total of 20,640,000.00.

“The project of over 20 million euros – added the vice -president – aims to accompany the Calabrian municipalities in a path of modernization and digitization, through targeted actions of training, operational support (training on the Job), internal reorganization and use of innovative tools. Particular attention will be paid to the most critical activities such as budget, accounting, personnel management, tax collection, planning and reporting”.

“The support activity for digitization – finally specified Pietropaolo – will also concern the use of remote work tools to improve the ability of the municipalities to be ‘responsive’ in a context of general scarcity of staff also through the development of associated management models of functions and resources. The plan starts from the critical issues found in the previous European programming 2014-2020 and is based on five operational axes.

Addating better: through the introduction of a digital platform that guides in the drafting of administrative acts, with regulatory support updated in cloud with the use of artificial intelligence. A tool that aims to reduce errors and simplify bureaucratic procedures, improving the quality of the documents and the speed of procedures.

Real -time monitoring: with a Dashboard system to analyze financial and management indicators of local authorities, promoting a predictive vision of critical issues and a sustainable management of resources.

Collaborating in digital: Calabrian municipalities will be able to access tools for smart working, sharing deeds and documents, internal communication and organizing online meetings. A system designed to facilitate cooperation between entities, even at a distance.

Helpdesk and technical support: four priority areas provided for: support for municipal investment processes, including support for access to public financing lines, programming, design, assignment, contract management, monitoring, reporting and evaluation activities; Development of municipal assessment and collection capabilities with the aim of efficient the entire cycle of local revenues and new adopting management choices aimed at their optimization; prevention and management of the financial crises of the Municipalities to be carried out both through the preventive return procedures, and through corrective interventions of normalization and efficiency of the methods of managing resources and assets available to the body; support for territorial planning tending to evidence of optimal management models on the local marine territory, including the beaches, in order to put actions and interventions in reference to the hydrogeological risk and coastal erosion.

The plan will be coordinated by the Regional Department for the digital transition and strategic activities, which will also have the task of guaranteeing constant monitoring and correct implementation of the interventions.
