He stuck his arm out of the car and snatched the bags and then disappeared. It was the State Police Agents of the Taurianova Police Station, at the end of an intense and immediate information-investigative activity, who identified the Romanian man who, on July 28, 29 and 30, using a rented vehicle, had committed several snatch thefts in the Piana di Gioia Tauro and in Vibo Valentia.
The detectives at the police station stopped the man in the act of returning the car and, in the offices, the perpetrator confessed to all the thefts he had committed, also indicating the place where he had disposed of the bags containing the victims’ documents.
At the end of the ritual activities, the arrested person was reported at liberty for the crime of theft to the competent Judicial Authority.
