A country road that connects Filandari to Papaglionti (a hamlet of Zungri) in the Vibo Valentia area has been transformed into a illegal landfill.

“The unknown perpetrators, although not yet identified, left bills and invoices on site, revealing part of their identity. The road is currently blocked by a large quantity of waste, both domestic and industrial, including dozens of folders containing invoices from a well-known dealership in the Vibo Valentia area, accompanied by utility bills.”

To underline this is Francesco Artusapolitical representative of the League, who denounced the situation with photos showing the environmental conditions of the area. Following the complaint, the mayor of Zungri and the eco-zoofile guards intervened on the site, collecting all the evidence necessary to identify the culprits.

Faced with this latest outrage to the territory, Francesco Artusa launched a strong appeal to the authorities and citizens: “Enough with these improvised landfills, created by people who come from outside and, using all kinds of means, abandon waste of all kinds. It is necessary to start a serious campaign to combat these crimes that disfigure and pollute our environment. Today’s episode represents yet another outrage to our territory and the time to forcefully say enough has come”, he stated.
