Everything is ready for the end of the year in music. Messina is preparing to experience two nights of fun and emotions. The first of the two events is represented by Irama’s showcase, scheduled for December 27th at 9pm. The singer-songwriter from Carrara is ready to light up Piazza Duomo and be welcomed by the warmth of the Sicilian fans, who have been organizing on social media for weeks to transform the event into a real collective party. An enthusiasm that goes beyond the borders of the island, with buses also arriving from nearby Calabria, confirming an event that promises to be among the most eagerly awaited of the Christmas holidays not only for the city of the Strait, but for the whole of Sicily.

With 54 Platinum albums, 5 Gold albums and over 2.5 billion streams, Irama is among the most loved and followed voices of his generation with his “Ovunque ordini”, “Nera”, “Arrogante”, “Mediterranea”, “Lentamente” (presented at Sanremo 2025) and many other songs.

On Monday 29 December it’s Gabbani’s turn

Two days later, on 29 December, it will be Francesco Gabbani’s turn, with the two-time winner of the Sanremo Festival closing a 2025 that saw all the big names in Italian music in Messina: from Laura Pausini at the beginning of the year, then passing through Vasco Rossi, Claudio Baglioni, Cremonini, Mengoni, Ultimo, Marracash, Il Volo, Negramaro and Elodie. A true capital of music, with the commitment of the Basile Administration which has decided to focus heavily on events. And on the horizon is a 2026 that is equally prestigious with the planned concerts of Renato Zero, Annalisa, Eros Ramazzotti, Zucchero, Geolier, Max Pezzali, Tiziano Ferro, and the extraordinary return of Notre Dame de Paris to the PalaRescifina.

Fresh from X Factor

On the tenth anniversary of the publication of his album “Eternamente ora”, which includes the famous song “Amen”, with which he won Sanremo Giovani, Gabbani will bring his music full of fresh and innovative sounds to the stage, offering an evening that will involve and surprise. 2026 promises to be a year full of music for the singer-songwriter, with a tour that will start between March and April, visiting arenas and continuing with summer events. Gabbani will also continue his television career, having been a judge in the latest edition of X Factorwhere he brought his experience to the benefit of young talents.
