How it works for Producers
Membership
The Manufacturers submit, via PEC, a request for membership to Invitalia SpA, which, having carried out the necessary checks, communicates to PagoPA SpA the names of the delegates who will be able to enhance the IT list of household appliances.
Product registration
Once enabled by PagoPA SpA, the Manufacturer (ed. Subjects delegated by the same) receives a link via email to access the dedicated portal and uploads the CSV files with the list of products according to the methods established, in particular, by the Guidelines;
subsequently both automatic checks are carried out by consulting databases and random checks by Invitalia SpA
For assistance or clarifications you can contact the dedicated service via the online form available on the Invitalia Portal in the Access the reserved area section.
How it works for Sellers
Requirements
Sellers who meet the requirements established by the legislation regulating the contribution, in particular by article 4 of the directorial decree of 22 October 2025, can join the measure.
Registration procedure on the IT platform
Accession and signing of the contract via the Reserved Area of PagoPA SpA which can be accessed with SPID/CIE (read the Guide on how to join the initiative – pagopa.it);
registration of at least one point of sale (physical or online), which will be included in the list available for consultation by end users on the website https://bonusappliances.it;
indication of the operators of the individual sales points and assignment of access credentials to the dedicated portal.
Activities of the physical store operator
At the time of purchase by the End User, the point of sale operator:
access the dedicated portal with the credentials received;
select the product that the End User intends to purchase from the IT list of household appliances, enter the sales price and the Voucher code presented by the End User, verify the correspondence of the tax code associated with the Voucher only if the user does not use the Voucher via the IO app. The IT platform calculates the amount of the discount on the invoice and generates a transaction in “pre-authorization” status. The transaction must be confirmed by the Seller.
If the “pre-authorization” procedure is not completed by 11.59pm on the day the transaction begins, it is automatically canceled and the Voucher can be used again for the period referred to in article 5, paragraph 7, of the directorial decree of 22 October 2025.
Liquidation of the amount accrued by the Sellers
After the purchase and after the period in which it is possible to make any returns, the Seller, via the IT platform, uploads the invoice and sends the declaration relating to the collection of the obsolete appliance;
Invitalia SpA carries out checks and settles refunds on the dedicated IBAN account, communicated during the registration phase by the Seller.
