A tall, centuries-old tree fell on the roadway of state road 280, involving a van from the company involved in the restoration work on the roadway affected by the sinkhole that was created this morning due to bad weather. Fortunately, when the tree fell inside the vehicle, the only driver remained uninjured. A team of firefighters from the Catanzaro Command – headquarters – engaged on the SS280 towards Lamezia Terme intervened on site. The intervention of the firefighters served to remove the obstacle.
